SUMMER!!!! YAY!!!

Yay, summer is here, and we are LOVING it! We went out of town for a couple of days, and it was SOOO much fun seeing family. The boys thought they'd died and gone to heaven, because we had two days of nothing but the park, cookies and other junk food, and friends. We played ultimate frisbee, where, at least a couple of us just haven't played anything like that in a while, so there were injuries, and bruises and general soreness for the next couple of days after. In short, I didn't want to come home, and I wasn't the only one. Aaron and Kameron were pretty upset to leave, too.
That said, if you'll notice, even though I took a lot of GREAT pictures, none of them are posted, because I can't find my camera! If I left it at the park, I reall am going to cry! If I find it, I'll post pictures.

Aaron's Kidnergarten Graduation and Award Ceremony

OOOOOH! My baby is not a kidnergartener anymore. (okay, he does officially have one more day of being a kidnergartener) - am I even spelling that right?
The morning of his graduation, it took a while to convince him that he did not need a bath in the morning, that he had a bath the night before, and that he could not have possibly gotten dirty during the night. Then, he had to wear his church clothes, and insisted I put gel in his hair. He wanted to dress up, because his teacher said he was getting three medals!
Anyways, he had his kidnergarden ceremony yesterday, and he got a "character counts" award, a "diploma" from kidnergarden, and a reading medal and certificate. I was so proud of him! He was so good at the ceremony, too! Man, has he grown in the last 9 months!

Karli's stitches out!!!

Yay!!! Karli got her stitches out (actually Monday, but I haven't had the time to post it yet). Now I have good ammo to scare the boys with. All I have to say, for example, is "Kameron, don't jump off of the back of the recliner! Do you want stitches like Karli?" And he stops immediately. I don't know how long it will last, but I'm milkin' it!

DATE NIGHT!!!!!

Yay!! Todd and I had a date night, the first in a LONG time. We were finally able to celebrate our anniversary. (I was in Cinci on our anniversary) We had a great time. We went out to eat, ordered, and realized neither of us were really hungry. We got boxes and left, so now we will have great lunches for today. We went to Walmart to get ideas on how we can fit our exercise stuff in the downstairs den to make it a gym. We got an antenna for our converter box, hoping to get ANY channels, but it didn't work. Cable is sounding better and better.

Credit Cards Fixed The CD Player

A few days ago I posted about Kam putting my cards in the CD player of our Computer. Well, the CD player part of the computer hasn't worked for a good 3-4 years. Guess what!! IT'S FIXED! Whatever Kam did in putting the cards in there, fixed it. I should have rewarded him with more ice cream!

What a month!

Kameron's stuff has slowed down. We haven't gotten him figured out yet, but we don't have to get x-rays as often as before. He's doing better on his meds, too.
That doesn't mean things have slowed down, however. Friday, while Todd and Aaron were at Father and Son's, our air conditioning went out. Of course, it was on the weekend, and we couldn't get anyone out to fix it until Monday. Boy, was it HOT. I think it finally cooled down to 93 degrees in the house at about 11:00 Saturday night. We got someone to fix it Monday evening, so LET'S HERE IT FOR AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I thank God for air conditioning in my prayers every day!
Yesterday was Aaron's birthday, but I spent the evening in urgent care with Karli, who split her head open on the piano. Kameron was chasing her around the house, and she ran into the piano, so now she has 3 stitches above her eye. The doctor commented on how calm she was. Of course she's calm, she has two older brothers. She's tough!
By the time I came home, we fed everyone, opened presents and had birthday cake, it was pretty late. I can't believe my baby's getting so BIG! =(
It seems like our life is kind of being an adventure, and all I just ask what is tomorrow going to bring?
Hopefully, today will be a nice, plain old boring day!

Painted Nails

I painted Karli's nails while the air conditioning guy was here. She LOVED it. I haven't painted her nails since she was a baby, so I was interested to see how she would act. She held so still, and afterwards kept holding out her hands so she could see the nails. SO MUCH FUN!!!

tomato!

tomato!
My first tomato of the season! It looks a little funny, but believe me, it tasted great!
